But God is gracious and sovereign and always doing work. LTC was amazing. It wasn't necessarily the teaching or the workshops, but the relationships I built and the way God revealed Himself to me. There is something beautiful about gathering all the leadership teams from AACF's of all different campuses, spending an intense and overwhelming week together, and then departing, knowing that there is a good chance this may be one of the last times we see each other but having a mutual understanding that we are all doing work for His glory and kingdom.
If I had to put into words what God did at LTC this post would be 58 pages long. But here are two things I learned and were made real to me:
1. God knows me. He knows me and He knows me intimately. He knows my every thought before it is formed, every word before it reaches my tongue, all my fears, my joys, my insecurities. He knows the reason for every teardrop on my face and the reason for every laughter that booms out of my mouth. He understands my frustration and anger and knows precisely what caused it. He knows exactly how I can serve Him to the best of my abilities with all that I am while at the same time completely depending on Him for strength and guidance. The Lord of the heavens and the earth knows me, this speck of dust, and that itself is enough to sing praises to our King forever.
2. That 2 Cor. 12:9 verse. "But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me." I am weak and I am inadequate. It is through my weaknesses and inadequacies that the Lord displays Himself, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
And now comes the influx of pictures.
Disclaimer: 90% of photos are blurry due to excitement.
